My passion for the Irish language has been a lifelong journey. It all started back at the age of 4, when I started in a Bunscoil lán-Ghaeilge i dTrá Mhór. This is where Gaeilge became more than just a subject—it became a part of who I am.

I’ve always looked for ways to incorporate my passion for gaeilge into ‘work’, so In secondarly school, my friend and I created an Irish oral app called 'Pog mo Fón'. (We even made it onto Dragon's Den, major slay)

After exploring different career paths, I was searching for my 'why'—that point where passion and purpose align. I’ve always had this lingering feeling that Irish should form a part of what I do.  Suddenly it clicked. Reconnecting my creative side with my love for Gaeilge wasn't just an idea, it was the path. It felt like coming home.

Back in January, I started a small project. I designed free phone lock screens inspired by my favourite seanfhocail, hoping to incorporate more irish into people’s lives. The reaction was amazing! It turned out so many of us were looking for simple, creative ways to connect with the language every day.

Then, someone printed one of my designs themselves as a farewell gift for their friend going traveling! That single moment sparked a huge idea. What if we all had a way to bring these powerful words off our screens and into our homes and lives?

That question is what led to this moment. So, I am incredibly excited to have my online shop up and running! This has always been about more than just prints. It's about building a community for all of us who want to celebrate Irish culture in new, creative ways.
